Hi!

I am writing, because I am having a disastrous FIFA experience this year. It has been pretty bad previous years as well, but this year the game is unplayable.

And no, I am not talking about game machanics, scripting and pack luck. Thats the game and get used to it. If you are good enough with decent team, you gonna win anyways. But you never gonna win with 1s input lag, because it is impossible to defend, shoot, pass. I even experience lag in offline modes and menus are always lagging. All this sh`` you have heard of or experienced.

EA "support" tells me that it is my ISP`s problem and they should fix it. What should they fix? I don`t need any fix from them, because the only thing that isn`t working in my home network is this sweet baby, FIFA20. My ISP tested my internet and checked the UOTrace report results and said that the problem is 100% with the EA servers or with the servers before information reaches EA servers. And those servers are after my ISP`s servers.  My ISP obviously cannot fix those transfer servers or EA servers, so they basically laughed at me. They even told me not to waste my time on an issue I and they cannot fix. And my ISP in well-known in my region and has the best internet connections in my country. Why should I doubt their compentence at this matter?

Let me give my details: living in Estonia, Europe, 100MB up, 100MB down optical fibre cable connection, wired connections from router to XBOX, nat type open, ports opened, upnp enabled, ports forwarded, dmz enabled, static IP set for XBOX, changed DNS settings, UHD TV with game mode on, tried with PC gaming screen as well. Have tried all these settings with different variations and I still dont have stable connection in FIFA 20. Also, gone through all XBOX and FIFA troubleshooting steps. I changed all cables to better ones, tried different routers etc. I even changed my ISP, lol. There are some good days when I can play like half games with only a little lag, but I cannot play competitive modes like that, can I?

I have done everything I could and tried everything I could find from google. I am happy with my ISP and my internet connection. Every other game on PC and XBOX one works perfectly for me. What I think is that the real issue is in game`s code, EA matchmaking policies or my isolated location. So there are my questions to EA and everybody who is related to managing this game:

1) What has EA done to make the game less lagging for players in Estonia in recent years? There must be something.

2) Is my location the biggest problem why I have the lag? If so then why the heck do I have to play in Frankfurt and London servers that are thousands of kilometres away?

3) Why do I have to do UOTrace test to American servers for EA "support" when I hopefully never play my games in those servers? Whats the point of that?

4) Why EA thinks advanced internet settings are essential to play their game? I have never changed that much internet settings for anything before.

5) If EA "support" asks my ISP to fix the problem, why don`t they tell me what my ISP should fix exactly? And why do they ignore my ISP`s reaction to that issue?

6) If EA "support" tells people to delete FIFA cloud files and temporary files + want people to readd their xbox live accounts, then why the heck these things have such an impact on gameplay anyways? Then I suppose there must be something wrong with the code, am I right?
