A question about the connection issue

I am currently playing with around 50 ms ping and my upload and download speed is around 3 Mb/s pretty stable. However, there is a tiny bit of delay and i heard that 20 ms is ideal for FUT and wondering by how much higher my internet speed needs to be to achieve 20 ms as in how much of Mbps or kbps of upload and download speed is enough to secure 20 ms ping. ( Thinking of getting a better internet plan). Any tip is appreciated in advance.

Hi there, @Kaung29.

There are a lot of different variables involved with lowering ping times. One that is very important is your proximity to the server your connecting to. The farther away you are, the higher your ping is going to be. Besides that, you can upgrade your equipment. I'd especially recommend this if you're using a combo modem/router unit that is supplied by your ISP. Getting your own separate modem and router also means you don't pay to lease the equipment from your ISP. If that's not possible, check to see if your router has a firmware update. Also, try enabling QoS (Quality of Service) if that is an option.

Something else to consider is that 50 ms is still a good connection. going from 50 ms to 20 ms is a fraction of a second. Chances are good that you may not really notice a difference.
