Just a heads up, for everyone playing FUT Squad Battles or any other online mode, and getting random disconnects (mostly Origin goes offline, chat is unavailable, causing FIFA to disconnect from the servers), and most of the time the game goes back to the main menu, and reconnects to the servers as soon as you press the Connect button. Some time ago, there was a Windows update, 1909. Since then I always noticed that I have 2 internet connections, my main wired one and one showing as Ethernet 2. Assuming everyone plays the game with a controller, and to be more specific, using Xbox One wireless controller, I noticed that the Wireless adapter began to identify as an Ethernet connection, and my wired connection was Ethernet 1. I also find out that sometimes the internet connection was using the Wireless adapter causing the internet to disconnect for a few seconds, then coming back online.
I'm not sure at the moment if this is a permanent fix, hopefully it will help some people out there, but you have to disable the adapter, by removing the driver from the Device Manager. In some cases plugging the adapter after a system restart stopped causing the "Ethernet 2" bug. This is happening only in games I use the controller (FIFA20, FH4, etc) and not while playing Apex Legends for example, never get disconnected, as I use the keyboard+mouse, and the adapter is turned off.
I hope this is helpful to some, as I know how frustrating is to get disconnected in the middle of the game.
