Why would EA intentionally make a game mode with every match so boring and the same?

Only positive thing about SBs this year compared to last is that the CPU actually commits fouls and gets red cards and concedes penalties which never happened last year

In case you haven't noticed, the clock moves slower in SB than in online modes. Each game lasts close to 20 minutes, vs 15-ish minutes in online games (assuming minimal pauses, skip replays etc).
So that's the first reason why it's so terribly boring.
The other reason is that the AI is programmed to play the game in a super slow way. Count the number of seconds it takes the AI opponent to take goal kicks (about 6 seconds) and corner kicks (about 5 seconds). It doesn't sound like a lot, but it really adds up, especially on top of the fact that the game clock is slower.
And the final nail in the coffin is the inexplicable delay. WHY IS THERE DELAY IN AN OFFLINE MODE???

use it as a way to try different players, formations, or generally score 'different' goals - overheads etc
work on corners and heading
its a bore, but the rewards are there now so worth a go

Literally every game is an utter bore fest of playing against 10 men in the box and 1 player in midfield. All game you just try somehow to not have a pass or shot blocked from 30 yards out...

Someone just lost to a 63 rated, 28 chem team on World Class

Because at any difficulty where it challenges you, the increased difficulty is lazy AF. You aren’t playing a smarter opponent. You’re just playing a game that makes you hit the post way more, the AI keeper pull off 20 saves and the AI get away with fouls. The difficulty is fake. So playing challenging levels of squad battles isn’t stimulating. Instead most of us just play the easiest game possible to complete whatever objective we are working on, which is also super boring.

lol, squad battle rewards are far from bad and they easiest to optain.
u dont even have to play all 40 games if u not completely bad.
about 45k points usually enough for elite 1 and u get 2 rare mega packs and 30(?)k coins without any pressure or stress.
in wl/rivals u need to get atleast gold 1/div 3 to get better rewards where u gotta play more games, more stress and gotta put up with tryharding and defending with 10 man

i enjoy squad battles more than online usually.
its just a nobrainer.
after working 9h/day i dont need anymore stress against the tryhard kids that defend with 10 man and celebrate every rebound goal.
then sometimes they even msg u after talking ****

I enjoy SB more than any online game mode. It’s easy, it’s mindless, and I’ve gotten great pulls from the packs. It also allows me to try new players and tactics before using them in WL

Nah. not today mate, that was last week. I lost to every bronze team I think with the exception of 2. I think it was bugged last week, every game I lose was the same. Went 1-0 up, lost 2-1 in the 93rd minute out of 92. Yet i beat all the gold teams easily. Was a really weird week.
This week is fine, don't think i lost yet. I do all my losing online.

Because 9/10 squads you play are on drop back depth 1
Even TOTW? Every game against them is the same... it's some sort of default settings for the AI

In all honesty, i usually enjoy offline because it's less pace abuse and every team you come across online have exactly the same players and tactics.
This time they've just made it so frustrating, even when winning it's just so damn unplayable.
