This does feel like a weird year. The last 3 years I’ve spent the whole year in D1 with a little bit of D2 mixed in. This year I’ve been stagnant in D5 since I was placed there. Doesn’t bother me that I’m in D5 as I really just play for fun but I do miss the multiple ultimate packs every week.

OP have you tried switching formations up?

Started with 4231, as I do every year. Lost loads against teams playing 41212(2) so I switched to that instead, but the lack of width prevented me from using wingers I like to play with. Liked the control of midfield with the 4 CMs, but also wanted wingers, so I went to 433(2) and struggled immensely to create any attacks. Then went to 433(4), which was better attacking but obviously a lot worse defensively, and it just made me lose even more.

So now I've just gone back to 4231 and gonna stick with it for the rest of the year instead of keep changing formations constantly.
