Do you play online? I have noticed when playing squad battles that headers go easier on the goal. Online it's just frustrating

I play online. As "easy" there as in SB.
I think most people need to learn how to aim, it seems the aim is narrower this year than before, so at first my shots and headers where going wide.
But the key is still the pass, you wont win many duels for headers infront of goal, your target needs space.

Aiming isn't the issue. Watch the replays back, the ball rarely goes in the direction of the aiming arrow even when it's stable. L1+R1 helps a little.

Aside from headers from crosses, even simple uncontested headers in the middle of the pitch don't work with any real consistency. Clearance headers in your own box will often go out for a corner or into the middle of the pitch just outside the box, regardless of where you aim.
