I had this issue 2 times, at leveling from 5 to 6 and yesterday 8 to 9. While I was getting my new level reward I got booted and when I returned I lost around 900 xp.
I stopped playing cause I don’t want to have this thing again. Please fix this and give us back our xp’s.
