@passing_tact I don't think this is going to be changed. This feature is present in the game for a couple of years now. The best choice for you is to make sure that Windows (and other apps') notifications are disabled.
By the way, I've faced a problem not a long time ago, that all EA games were just unfocusing randomly. There's a solution to this too, which can be found right here, in Dreamadv's comment
