Fast players being able to pull away from slow defenders when the game launched felt realistic. High rated slow players were still very usable because their positioning made it hard to beat them with those fast players unless you dived in. It was realistic. Sounds like they went back to fifa 19 the way OP is describing it which is pretty sad
