I did this a week ago, and it seemed to improve my game quality in the first few days, and made the game so much more fun (coincidently, i jumped about 600 skill points after this....).

Sadly since thurs this week, its back to being as bad as it ever was - checked that the port forwarding settings are still active and they are, but seems even that cant overcome the mess that is Fifa servers.

TLDR - No downside, you might get an upside so try it
