King_Puchillas replied to FIFA 20 Stuttering

I have the exact same issue

The game runs smoothly in menus but every time I either enter a match or a skill game I experience unplayable stuttering even though my FPS is more than 150 at all times (at ultra settings everything)

My specs are as follows:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: RTX 2070

RAM: 16GB 3000Mhz

AOC 1080p 144hz Freesync (G-sync enabled) monitor

OS: Windows 10 (Latest Build)

All drivers are updated to their latest versions

I have tried the following methods to fix the stuttering:

-run the game at DirectX11

-tinker with the game profile in both Nvidia Control Panel and Nvidia Inspector (running the game on maximum performance, forcing v-sync off and on, forcing g-sync on and off and etc.)

-physically reinstall the GPU into the PC

I have seen other posts of the same issue on FIFA Forums dating way back to FIFA 15 and just don't know why EA hasn't fixed such a glaring issue ever since...

P.S: I managed to remove most of the stuttering by using Rivatuner Statistics which comes bundled with MSI Afterburner, by limiting my FPS to 144 (just like the monitor refresh rate) and by forcing V-sync off in the Nvidia Control Panel. The game runs smoothly most of the time besides a few stutters here and there (which really * me off but its all up to EA now). I hope this helped someone.
