I'm going with 8 depth, pressure after posession loss and posession attack every game, and with two target man upfront, as far away from meta as possible. But with pacey defense.
Strangest thing I realized is I get countered all the same with drop back 2 bar d. Eventually I will leave huge gaps in the midfield if most of my players are on opponent half. It's not the tactics, these guys are so efficient at playing counter and controlling the right players.
This. Sitting deep is one thing. But using your counters and rare chances is another quality.
I have played against all kinds of drop backs now. Possession deep drop back.
Counterpressing drop back.
Long ball drop back.
Some of these guys are quality finishers and quality defenders.
