There was nothing of price fixed. It was just supply and demand market rise. And those players who were super expensive (for example Utrecht or Tolosa silver players) where that high just because EA set in the requirements formations that didn’t fit the players the team had.

Also the fact that those SBC are repeatable made them super worth it in certain cases (completed myself CSL SBC multiple time last year, as it was 50/60k at some point, you had back good packs and an 86 rated player that last year in the market was around 20/25k). Seeing how all the SBCs are managed this year(no bergains at all, look at that 83 rated req for 2 UCL players that last year required only gold rates) its easy to guess EA don’t want to have people farming packs for next to nothing
