I am in the same boat in that I farm Elite 1 for the rewards but I agree with OP. Squad battles is terrible this year. They have made it so much harder to score whilst the AI can score BS goals even when you defend well. The AI is literally playing on a different set of game mechanics to us and it's just not a fair contest.
