It's important to find the right formation for yourself this year. I've always used 41212(2) in previous years to great success, but this year it's just not working. After lots of experimentation, I've found the most success (and fun) with 4321, which is ironically the formation I previously hated using. And I've always used Get in Behind for my strikers, but for some reason False 9 is working far better for me this year.

In other words, everything's changed this year. Try messing around with some other formations and custom tactics.
