Just currently looking for answers on this myself. I don't think it's lag at all there's a delay in the game for every action while playing online fom shooting to tackling to player switching, everything. I personally thing EA have released an unfinished game and are going to try rectify it by patches and updates. I play fifa alot even last year when the game wasn't the best. This year I don't even want to play it I really regret buying it let alone the ultimate edition. I've had pretty much every fifa for like 20 years even fifa 94 on the pc. There was blatant lies about the game for it to be sold I definitely won't be buying the next fifa whatever lies they say about how good the game is.
