I agree with your analysis of what’s wrong. However, they only let YouTubers and Pros (many of whom never actually played competitive football) beta the game and only took their feedback into account - which is why the game feels arcade-ish with abuse-able mechanics. FIFA used to be fun.
This is nonsense - there were thousands of people that played in the beta.

We might not be able to respond to each individual thread and every single point but we're always reviewing feedback and passing it on to the relevant teams.
