Yes you need to set up manual jockey and get gud with predicting opponent movements. You have to play good manual defense, that's the key. No high pressure and team pressure will save you if you don't know how to play extremly good 1-on-1 defense.

My problem has nothing to do with a lack of predicting them, i feel second to none at that, it's just my players refuse to pick up the ball. Several times in the last match I ran right over the top of it without picking it up. Or when i tackle someone, my players stands still for 2 seconds then the player i tackled runs back to the ball.

I can see their AI defenders moving the second i press pass. If i try a through ball, i see their players set off running as i press it and my players don't move even with get in behind and 90+ pace.

I'm stumped. I've not won a single game tonight because their GK has been an absolute beast of a hero. It's unreal how with 99 finishing i can't finish in the box because the GK is just a boss. Yet, my GK cannot save anything even when it's a weak shot right at him... it's mind blowing.

The last 2 games combined their GK has made 25 shots (14 in 1 then 11 on the last).

Combined my GK has made 6, and 3 of those were off target anyway.
