Yea I spent money and got lucky too- Packed Cristiano Ronaldo from the RTTF Alonso SBC and that took my team to the next level.

Zlatan was insane (and his FB), but game had died by the time I got him- think I used him for 2-3 WL's at most but he dominated.

Gone RTG this year and doing all of the advanced SBC's asap sorted me out big time- have found it easier to make money this year as the Chelsea theme means I haven't had an SBC to sink coins into yet.


What team you running this year/building towards? Think I may remember seeing your username celebrating the Bastian Card? NGL, was very tempted by that card but absolutely impossible for me to link.

U know the OP heading from Zlatan might be to blame for why EA have nerfed heading so hard this year

Yeah I follow/watch the Prem the most, but I'm also a huge MLS nerd (I do every MLS SBC and have bought 600+ MLS cards to prep for the League SBC) so I usually build one team of each. Recently combined the best of both my teams tho to use more competitively.

Oh I'm a Japanese football fan too so that's why Nakata is in there.

I lived in Osaka for a couple of years and used to go to a bunch of Cerezo Osaka games when Forlan was there- incredible atmosphere at the games, so different to the UK. Also, so many goals from goalkeeping errors haha!

Love Nakata as well, we used to get a serie a highlights show in the UK called 'Football Italia' and he used to do naughty things for Parma/Roma.

Wish they would do an Icon Totti/Batistuta/Recoba/Davids... I could go on

Yep! I'm a United fan. I got interested in football later than most kids (didn't play any organized sports until i decided to try out footy in 7th grade), but I've stuck with United since that time.

oh no way! That's awesome. I've been to a J-league game too and I agree that the atmosphere was really great. Quality of football (especially the defenders and GK!!) wasn't that high, but I was impressed by how intense the experience was.

St. Juste is really good. Paired with Lucas Hernandez completely counters pacey strikers.

I've been super lucky this year with pack luck (have never spent on FP) so I've gotten some good players much earlier than anticipated. heck yeah, I'll do Vela MVP SBC (I've done the POTM). WF is a big down side, but he'll be on my MLS side for sure and at least the bench here.
