@Zed585 just replying to your post as i only just read it and in the future you might get stuck again... when you look at a players card, press the right thumbstick to see their player bio, player details, attribute details and traits.

So now look at the player bio, underneath the image of the card on this screen reads the card type. Cardozo is a flashback player. Eve though he is obtainable from one of the Conmebol sbcs he is not a Conmebol player f or objectives/challenges. So this is not a glitch.
