The lag compensation seems worse than ever this year.. I used to feel like if I concentrate I can fight through it
But this year it's on a whole other level, as you mentioned I just can't string 2 passes together.. the ball just slows down and my players all freeze until the opponent casually jogs over and intercepts the ball
Last night in WL my game completely froze on the halfway line for 4 seconds, then resumed in fast forward.. my opponent was in my box scoring a goal.. so basically he dropped frames on his wifi and EA decided I should be punished (I'm on 200mb, wired connection with 0 packet loss)
I have a broadband monitor running 24/7, so I know 100% the issue wasn't on my end.. I have a stable connection with 0 packet loss and consistent, stable latency
Really don't understand why they can't just implement a system that forces both clients to sync up to create a balance.. even if that means horrible slow gameplay or maybe the game needs to pause until a client catches up (I know COD used to do this back in the day)
Yes that would be annoying, but at least it would fair.. and it may even force people to address their connectivity issues as they would experience it more often than not
Both players should be experiencing the same gameplay, giving people with terrible connections such a huge advantage should never be considered an acceptable solution
Unless something changes very soon then I'm done with this game for good.. it's just not worth my time playing through games when I'm at such a severe handicap
