I've had it with this game. Just put it up for sale on Ebay and I will never come back to it again. I might never even bother with another FIFA again.

I'm an half decent player - I won a first division title last year, and usually hover between divisions 1 and 2. I'm not someone who plays on it every day and when I do play it's normally a few games, sometimes up to ten in a a session. This year I have got up to Division 3 so far.

So I'm not the best in the world, but I win far more than I lose. But since the patch I have won 0, drawn 6 and lost 8. I've just had enough. They make defending more difficult every year despite the fact it's never been hard to score goals. I'm sick to death of my CB's just leaving gaping holes and just standing there. You can't control every player at once.

I know the best players will say it's fine, and it's great for them that they can defend well. But it's not like I'm a poor player, or inexperienced, I have played the game for 25/26 years. It's not like I haven't tried to improve, I've read numerous help threads, watched loads of videos. Just defending is ridiculous. I really feel they are alienating their millions of casual players by pandering to those who want full manual controls. It's too difficult and no fun anymore. It's also not realistic that if I'm not controlling that specific player he will just stand there and do nothing and let players jog past him with the ball so easily.

So, thanks EA. Not that you will listen. Your customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and you have finally lost this loyal fan for good.

Thank God Football Manager is out soon.

I don't agree that defending is harder then it was on last few Fifas, especially compared to 19. With every cross the fb at back post sprinted to the centre, leaving the attacker on back post completely open and you won about every header as long as your striker came running into the box.
The defensive animations were absolutely shocking, not allowing to tackle, locking defenders on for 3-5 seconds and often in these 3-5 seconds they often ran into a striker without attempting to go for the ball and gave away pen after pen..
It's also never been this easy to tackle/block through the power up and the shooting animations delaying shots way too long, but imo the whole power up system on passing and shooting is just deft in general.

Heard so many people say that it's good that you should power your passes and shots up and that it's good that they can feel the difference when passing with Modric or Kroos then when you pass with a random 80 rated player in which I can not disagree more. I'll explain why.

Irl it takes <0,5 seconds longer to pass/shoot with a lot of power then pass/shoot with little power. There are mainly only 2 things where time has a big influence on and that's the angle in which the passes/shots are performed (when you have more time, you'd position yourself in a better angle) and the accuracy of the passes/shots. In most situations where you don't have much time to react, you're often still able to pass/shoot with a lot of power, there's only a bigger chance that they won't be as accurate.

Where players like Modric and Kroos are exceptionally good at, is being able to see the runs of teammates from their position and being able to get the ball to those teammates very accurately.

The only thing that people intend to forget, is that on Fifa you're able to see most of the post from high out, while Modric and Kroos are only be able to see it from the pitch.
Play some game with pro camera and turn the radar off and see the difference..
