The two things that drive me the most crazy in this game are: 1) the passing error for players who have high passing stats and/or missing wide open passes under low/no pressure. 2) You can’t put an algorithmic error on speed - a player is either fast or not. However, I don’t understand how you could have created a game that gives everything to speed. How often do you see strikers running back into their own half and make a tackle. In the real world good passing beats speed, or at least keeps it at bay. Watch football and the best, fastest, strikers aren’t turning around and playing defense. They also aren’t regularly dribbling through 3 or 4 players. I don’t think you can or should nerf speed but their other stats should matter. POTM Vardy has 60 defense, only two other higher rated strikers have a defensive rating higher than 50, yet these pacy guys turn around and make tackle after tackle with tackling stats of less than 30. In the real world strikers usually flail about after missing a shot or losing a ball even when play doesn’t stop. They usually don’t run back because they’re slightly winded or laying on the ground asking the referee for a foul. Fine, perhaps thousands beta tested the game but I would wager people who like to beta test games don’t go outside and play real football as much they spend time playing video games.
