I had this same issue and just contacted and messaged EA. I hope they remedy this. It isn't that big of a deal, or wouldn't be, if I hadn't just bought the game or had issues years ago. 

My account was hacked 6 years ago when origin got hacked, and I stopped playing as a result. I decided to come back finally and give EA a chance again, and within 2 days of buying it, already server issues where I get booted out of a game !? That is insane. 

I hope they remedy this, or else I hope I don't have to boycott again completely....

EA - if youre going to keep the games for Origin only and not allow games on any other digital platform like Steam, then make sure your servers and products work and are secure, otherwise youre monopolizing people and giving them no real option - especially loyal sports gamers of over 20 years....
