Buenos Aires FC - RTG - Weekend-League
I hope that I'm in the right section for a Fifa 20 Ultimate Team Pack Road To Glory .
I have done something like that during Fifa 19 in the German EA Forums
and it was a pretty awesome experience.
This year I thought that I could maybe reach an international audience and improve my English skills, too.
I'm not a native speaker, so please excuse my mistakes.
Since this thread is new here, I want to talk about how it all started.
Last year I had lost my motivation to play Fifa 19 after Christmas, which had been pretty unusual for me.
So I thought about something that could enhance my enjoyment of Fifa 19.
Inspired by another thread in the German forum I decided to start a Pack Road To Glory,
where I can celebrate every player that I pack and have fun trying players I otherwise wouldn’t even consider.
It just makes the whole Ultimate Team experience more interesting.
You have to adapt to the players you pack and have to try out different teams.
There is an easy set of rules for the RTG.
No money will be invested into Fifa Points!
Packs will only be bought by coins or gained through rewards.
The transfermarket won’t be used under any circumstance.
Mainly online matches will be played.
Due to Challenges we will also play offline-matches.
There is a vision of what I would expect ideally from this RTG.
I want to maximize the fun in Fifa 20.
If you have fun interacting and visiting this thread, then it would make me even happier
Therefore, I would like to integrate you as much as possible.
There could be votings, live-streams and other events that we can think of.
I would like to deliver offensive football that is enjoyable.
That’s why I would be thankful for any tips and tricks regarding gameplay.
I usually don’t enjoy parking the bus.
I hope I won’t disregard this principle during Weekend-Leagues.
If you have any suggestions or improvements, please tell me!
Thanks for reading and please let me know, if you guys would be interested in the Pack RTG 😊

A nearly pure French squad. No real stars involved.
After 10 minutes Stindl is free on goal and scores a well placed shot. Brosinski supports our attacking play and creates a lot of chances. Stindl crosses, Terodde is the receiver and heads the ball into the goal. In the 30th minute Ikone is found in the penalty box. Bender is too late and the score is 2:1.
10‘ 1-0 Stindl
18‘ 2-0 Terodde
30’ 2-1 Ikone
35‘ 3-1 Terodde
62’ 4-1 Nkunku
62‘ Upamecano
68‘ 5-1 Stindl
75‘ 6-1 Stindl
A solid performance with a red card that I didn't even realize.
Is this a new feature in Fifa 20 or have I just never experienced such a situation in Fifa 19? I'm not even sure if it's suits the official Fifa rules.

A strong Bundesliga squad! We have to be alert!
Nkunku wants to show the coach that he has offensive qualities. Nkunku dribbles past the whole defense and shoots. Ulreich can't even react. Just seconds later Gnabry can pass the ball to Werner who can score. Nevertheless, Nkunku has the ultimate will to win. Terodde assists Nkunku who made again a huge run from the middle of the field. Terrodde manages to score in the 34th and 37th minute. Tolisso scores for the away team. Our defensive isn't stable in the second half and Coman can score the third goal for our opponent. Then Stindl increases the lead, which is countered by Goretzka's goal. This game is truly for the fans of football. The coaches must be furious about the defensive work.
15‘ 0-1 Nkunku
18‘ 1-1 Werner
27‘ 0-2 Nkunku
34‘ 1-3 Terodde
37’ 1-4 Terodde
45+1’ 2-4 Tolisso
52’ 3-4 Coman
56’ 3-5 Stindl
66‘ 4-5 Goretzka
72’ 4-6 Terodde
The attack works pretty well. The defending could be massively improved.
Pace is the opponent's offensive paradigm. Rebic was given really nice stats in Fifa 20. I'd really like to try him some tim.
Rebic is the man, who assists Muriel in the 26th minute.
6‘ Callejon
26’ 1-0 Muriel
76’ Luis Alberto
The stats really shows the lack of chance we had.

We managed to get a nearly full BPL squad with van der Sar as a goalie. 41212(2) was the best formation for me since it had two strikers and double passing is quite effective. Messi, Sane and Co can come in as substitutes.
This surely won't be an easy tasks. Four Icons in the squad is pretty terrifying. Sala and Mane are very dangerous wingers.
The beginning is perfect. Aguero times his pass perfectly and Aubameyang can score with a finesse shot. But the response didn't take too long. Hagi finesses the ball into the net and evens the score. Just few minutes later Mata crosses the ball near the long post. David Luiz's bad positioning leaves Aguero a lot of room so that the Argentinian can score with a header. Before halftime Dalglish can use a lot of space in the penalty box to adjust his shooting position and equalizes.
9‘ 1-0 Aubameyang
22‘ 1-1 Hagi
26‘ 2-1 Aguero
42’ 2-2 Dalglish
52’ 2-3 Salah
80’ 2-4 Son
Even though we had the lead two times, we were completely dominated in the second half.
The stats display this circumstance.
This isn't how we imagined the first draft to play out.
Our investment of 15 k wasn't worth it.
Or maybe it was?
Gold Pack #1
Ghoulam is a player that could be pretty useful in a Seria A squad.
Gold Pack #2
Djene is now officially our highest rated player in the club! The LaLiga gains a nice center back. It indicates that we can maybe build a LaLiga Squad pretty soon.
Silver Players Pack #1
Players we can us in SBCs...
Silver Reward Pack #1
Some Web-App Reward.

Ben Yedder… Flashbacks to Fifa 19... I wonder if he is as strong as he was in Fifa 19.
An unnecessary ball loss in our buildup play initiates a counter attack. Onyekuru can score an easy goal. The fast Nigerian scores his second goal just 9 minutes later. Our defense starts to crumble and we concede a lot of goals. Terodde tries to restore our honor.
10‘ 0-1 Onyekuru
19‘ 0-2 Onyekuru
25‘ 0-3 Gueye
43’ 0-4 Saint-Maximin
53’ 0-5 Ben Yedder
72’ 1-5 Terodde
82’ 1-6 Yedder
Our concentrated defensive play has vanished.
Defending is still a great challenge for me in Fifa 20, but I like it.
Emre Can seems to be a nice card again this year.
It takes 30 minutes until the first goal. Fabian randomly receives the ball in the penalty box and finesses the ball into the net. We can't create many chances in the first half of the game. Terodde can utilize a cross by Traore in the beginning of the second half. The German scores with a tremendous header.
34‘ 0-1 Fabian
48’ 1-1 Terodde
50’ 1-2 Chiesa
87‘ 1-3 Martinez
Defense is still the critical part.

Is this the only account you play FUT on? Anyway good luck with the pack to glory!
I feel tempted to do the same every year. Even more with the high amount of packs you can get from rivals and SBC’s. It looks much more rewarding even when you pack a regular player. I also keep switching teams every year and lose many coins on tax which isn’t the case with first owner only.
Thank you! It's not the only account I play on. I have my main gaming account and a seperate PSN account just for the RTG. In terms of Fifa I couldn't even tell which one is the "main", because the RTG makes definitely more fun
I would totally recommend trying it out yourself! It really makes every player feel more special to you

The first pure Serie A squad that I see this year!
Barella is left with too much space in the penalty box, has a lot of time to adjust his shooting position and scores. Bender and Elvedi are not aggressive enough. The game is very intense. It takes over 40 minutes until Therodde plays a brilliant pass to Lars Stindl that the former Gladbach player can easily finish.
17‘ 0-1 Barella
66‘ 1-1 Stindl
71‘ 2-1 Brosinski
77’ 3-1 Stindl
Our defense performs a little bit better.
Stindl demonstrates his importance for our club.
The first season reward is coming!
Premium Gold Pack #1
Pastore… I remember his 85-rated card at PSG. His prime has obviously vanished. I wonder if he can flourish in the Serie A again. Nevertheless, he is easily a contender for a possible Serie A squad in the future.
Two Rare Gold Players Pack #1
Aleix Vidal is a nicely playable fullback! He will surely be used in a LaLiga Squad.
Small Electrum Players Pack #1
Castillo could be a great sub, if we need some pace on the wings.

We have to face a solid BPL-Squad. The only positivie thing is that this lacks high decorated stars. Therefore, we see a good opportunity for our first win. The dortmund badge was a motivation for me since I'm a Schalke supporter.
Naby Keita takes a very hard long shot in the first minutes of the game. Our goalkeeper Klewin has no chance. We don't loose concentration and try to play our offensive style of football. Terodde gets the ball in the penalty box, outplays David Luiz with a nice change of direction and scores.
8‘ 1-0 Keita
28‘ 1-1 Terodde
40‘ 1-2 Traore
64’ 1-3 Stindl
89‘ 1-4 Stindl
Yeah, there is our first win of the season!
After moderate performance we can improve our offensive play.
Maxi Eggestein is our man of the match!
Unfortunately, Terodde was injured during the match.
A good team with 3 players from Borussia Dortmund. We need a win for balanced stats!
The praise of the coach seems to positively influence the performance of Eggestein. The former Bremen player scores in the 5th minute of the game. Just 5 minutes later Klewin stopped a long shot by Guerreiro, but the bouncer is put in the net by Paco Alcacer. Our goalkeeper has some hard times. It is an very intense game. Stindl reads the situation and takes advantage of Pavlenka's bad positioning. He scores with a finesse from 30 yards.
5‘ 1-0 Eggestein
11‘ 1-1 Alcacer
33’ 2-1 Stindl
50‘ 3-1 Thiele
73‘ Thiele
81‘ 4-1 Thiele
88‘ 5-1 Eggestein
We can see a huge performance improvement of the team.
Maybe our opponent wasn't as strong as the others before.

I really appreciate your comment!
The Eredivise has a lot of good players this years, which our opponent wants to show us.
Tadic has lost some pace in Fifa 20, but his finesse shots are still deadly as he demonstrates in the 28th minute. Our full backs struggle to contain the pacey wingers. Bergwijn scores the second goal as a consequence.
18‘ Bender
28‘ 1-0 Tadic
53’ 2-0 Bergwijn
82‘ 3-0 Promes
Our team got put in its place again after a good streak.
A pretty solid BPL team.
It takes 20 minutes: Haller appears in front of the goal and can score. Eggestein, our captain, is tenacious and initiates a counter attack. He involves Stindl and makes the run, which he finishes with a goal.
20‘ 1-0 Haller
40‘ Gbamin
45+2‘ 1-1 Eggestein
64‘ 2-1 Calvert-Lewin
84‘ 3-1 Haller
88‘ 4-1 Haller
90+2‘ 4-2 Thiele
Our lack of defensive skill becomes more imminent.
We have to do a lot of work in order to improve the defense.

Push-Cards on Hazard and Felix. That's like a punch in the face with my team. But that motivated me just more to concentrate. We manage to create many chances, but Joao Felix scores with the first shot on goal by our opponent. A nice double pass between Eggestein and Stindl leads to the equalizer. A huge error by the opponent's keeper in the second half gives us an easy chance. Stindl just had to finish into an empty net.
21‘ 0-1 Joao Felix
32‘ 1-1 Eggestein
55‘ 2-1 Stindl
70‘ 2-2 Hazard
We still have to wait für our first victory
Opponent's Squad (Division Rivals #3)
What a squad! 3 Informs are waiting to make life difficult for us.
Terodde and Stindl seem to be a good duo up front. A nice combination leads to our lead. In the 23th minute Nkunku tried to shoot from outside the box. The ball was deflected by an centre back and the ball lands in front of Lars Stindl. The german just had to put the ball into the net. After the two goal lead our concentration vanished and we conceded pretty soon. To make things even worse, Delaney manages to score from a tight angle in the second half. People might say that our goalie should have saved the shot. Next we concede our first goal through a corner kick. Then Terodde managed to equalize 10 minutes before the end of the match.
13‘ 1-0 Stindl
23‘ 2-0 Stindl
26‘ 2-1 Malen
34‘ Brosinski
57‘ 2-2 Delaney
79‘ 3-3 Terodde
So we gave a 2:0 lead away, which is subpar.
Our opponent was a good player nevertheless.

So I chose a Bundesliga starter pack. The loyalty packs contained some nice Bundesliga players, too.
Eggestein and three players from Gladbach look pretty solid as a starter squad!
Let's get into the first match of this season
Opponent's Squad (Division Rivals #1)
The beginning of the game was acutally pretty solid, but our CBs are too slow and can't handle Aubameyang's speed. As the game continues, the speed still causes a lot of problems for our defense. It didn't take too long and we were down 3 goals. That wasn't what we imagined the first game to be like. But we didn't give up. Nkuku and Traore managed to score before halftime.
10‘ 1-0 Aubameyang
24‘ 2-0 Renan Lodi
27‘ 3-0 Foden
33‘ 3-1 Nkunku
45+2‘ 3-2 Traore
56‘ 4-2 Aubameyang
67‘ 5-2 Foden
70‘ 5-3 Terodde
What a pitty! A win in the beginning would have been aweseome.

Okay, maybe it will. Maybe I will try another format.
Yeah, there are certain limitations. I think for the beginning it is okay, because the progess shouldn't be too fast. That's the thing with the 200 k player: Since he is worth 200 k, he will probably be a good playable card and would improve the squad in a certain position critically. Or I might have to build a team around him.
If I reach a point where a 200 k player isn't usable in any team or I have better versions of him, than I think selling might be a good point.
Here is another thing: I will probably choose untradeable rewards, because more packs are involved, which makes sense in a Pack Road To Glory. Therefore, I won't probably pack too many expensive tradeable players

Ah, okay. That was a bit too obvious for me aparently
Funny story behind the name is that when I created a second account for the RTG in Fifa 19, I started and then deleted the club again. As I then created a second club with the new account I wasn't able to choose a name for the club (or I just missed it). So the club was randomly named by EA and I hadn't the right level in the EA Sports Catalogue in order to change the name. So i stuck with it

I see your point in this. If I'm allowed to sell players, then I can generate more coins for packs or SBC players and get an awesome team pretty soon.Knowlesdinho wrote: »I wouldn’t eliminate the transfer market. You could use it to your advantage and still remain pack only.
E.g. selling a player not needed to generate coins to buy more players that are needed to complete SBCs. Still pack only, but using your resources more wisely.
Good English btw, just might want to think about the formatting of your text. Hope it goes well.
To put things into perspective: I started my last Pack Road To Glory in February 2019 and at the end of May I had two really playable teams with no transfermarket in use.
I think it wouldn't be so interesting if I would have a really good team after a month. It's basically a challenge and it really makes every player count. Even bad players can be vital for SBCs since I can't buy any. And i managed to get some SBC players in the run.
