Damn they sucked me into this one, haven't completed a player SBC all year until Vardy who I'm just gonna use for fodder for Gomez now lol, just want him too badly.

Keep slaying Gomez. There’s a reason why his NIF was so OP because he has the big, VVD like body model. He’s a beast and will be amazing in a month when he’s an 85

This is only worth it if u pack at least 100k worth of cards from the rare mega and rare players pack.
200k isn't horrible, but 320k and trash in your packs would depress me.
I bought Varane today for 238k, which I think was the smarter purchase. Plus, I get those coins back if i sell him on Sunday

He looks good but wil have to waste shadow card from objective, and his NIF with shadow is just 2k... I can guarantee you won't feel any difference beside placebo. As for the upgrades I'd rather have some flexibility than forcing myself to play with it...
I don't think higher rated cards are a placebo
Maybe the diff from a +1 upgrade when it's only like 14 in game stats then sure, very minimal difference, but we're talking 96 here
I don't think he's worth the coin and I'm not doing it, but what you're saying implies that cards don't matter, in which case you'd see every pro running a bronze team and saving all their money

Played 10 games with him in W/L, lost one game I can assure you he’s solid been swapping my defenders since the start of the game it’s a great card. I’m using him with Anchor doesn’t need the shadow.
Got him and Mid Rio together absolutely solid

Why +2?
IF’s under 86 get +2 upgrades, why low rated players are worth getting the IF’s for, high rated ones your paying for the card design
Like Mane RTTF, his +1 has about 10 IGS with a +1 boost yet he’s 1.3m more

Uhh.. I completed him for 290k from scratch by sniping fodder.. He already feels like a 86+ ingame just like his 80 felt like 84.. Definitely worth it..

Well 290k is much better than 400k.... packs aren't bad either. Not sure I would have the patience to bid and snipe though.

Yeah but he will need a hunter just to have 98 pace. So the right chem would be an engine, which gives him dribbling but 93 pace. There is much cheaper, better players available than that.

He cost 250k after packs. No pull. Hes worth 150k right now easily. He will also have a +2 in exactly a month.. Prem has no good defenders and VVD is like 250k overpriced. I'm pretty sure he plays better than his stats suggest, similar to his NIF.

Gomez has actually been rock solid so far with a guardian chem. I sold VVD for him, Gomez is very similar. Guaranteed to get upgraded too. No brainer..
