Fifa 20 (PC)- SCreen flickering
Hi to everyone. AND PLEASE HELP me with this issue. I have a bought FIFA 20 on PC, but while playing there is a flickering issue going on.
I thought it was only in Fullscree mode, but it is in the other way too. I was playing like always in Ultra, I tried on 'High' and the same.
PLEASE HELP ME. It's bothering me a lot, so I need to fix it ASAP.
I saw another post where EA Helper said to send a DxDiag, so I put one just in case.

I am literally having the exact same issue. FIFA 20 is flickering while in the menu and while in game at times. No other game or video is creating the same issue.
RX 5700 XT and Acer 27 inch 1440 144hz screen

Hi,
Turn off freesync on your monitor. It worked for me.

Have the same issue. AMD VEGA64 and Acer 27 inch 1440 144hz screen. Is there a fix already?

This is really a stupid recommendation. I literally baught a 1440p 144Hz Freesync monitor for just that purpose. Sent the first one back because I thought it's a problem with the monitor. Second one is better but starts flickering after a while in low frequencies in the menu screen and some times in replays. Fufa PC lacks options to lock the menu/replay to 60+ Hz. Sometimes my replays run at 70fps butter smooth, sometimes it drops to 30s. Menus sometimes hit 60Hz and sometimes in the 40s. Totally irrational to me. No reason why it would do that only some times. Games typically runs beyond 200fps without VSync and solid 155fps with VSync on. This really happens at 40fps or below. At least noticable

Im experiencing the same problem, when im playing match then the camera gets closer to the player for a highlight/celebration, my screen flashing blackscreen so many times and it annoy me so much.. currently i play in windowed borderless mode since fullscreen gives me screen flickering, anyone know how to fix this? Is it related to my personal graphics settings? My spec are ryzen 5, gtx 1650, ram 16gb, 120hz screen, asus tuf fx505dt laptop

I had a working way so I will send, but after the last update I got old demons of this game .. 1st step, you need to set enchanced vsync in radeon drivers for FIFA 20, and set FPS limit to your disiplay native level. Second step is change from DX12 to DX11 with fifasetup file.
But remember, whenever you change the settings in the launcher, it jumps to 0 in the file, which gives DX12.
DIREXCX_SELECT = 0 -> DX12
DIREXCX_SELECT = 1 -> DX11
Sorry for not best english but I'm from Poland and I helped myself with the translator :D
