Who likes this game ?
It was ok at the start and after this latest patch I can't pass or turn .
Was in div 2 before patch and now in 4 in few nights and I'm trying few new things but can't play the game properly.
I've played online since day on fifa and never felt so bad at it.
I cant perform like I did a week ago with same team .
Also few pros I know saying same and stopped even playing rivals now as it is that bad.
I want to play still for fun but in each game it's 10 man drop back or low depth which is just as OP.
Never played a fifa where there is this many boring games .
I have played in total since patch over 100 games and never get any satisfaction from them .
Pre patch I was living life enjoying the game for once after how bad 19 was.
But now it's worse than 19 .
Reason why is fun not there and not any good rewarding games just AI defence and counters .
I am very good at possesion so it's also why I only play drop back players .
I played Ty walton and Lewis H90 and had them even compliment my game which is nice as I was beat 1 nil by them both in champs for my elite runs on same weekend lol.
I'm no pro player but I'm not bad and this current state of the game is making me now bad.
Its like Forza motorsport each time it's made im good .
Cod I'm good .
Other games feel very simualr in esports each year to keep skilled playing .
FIFA 19 and 20 are taking the skill and ruining the game as a core feel to play .
Passing is bad
Shooting lol
Defence is like butter for high line brick for deep .
No AI attacking improvement as promised
Tactics was miles better before 19 as numbers was giving more unique styles.
Pros make everyone think meta is drop back so sheep follow .
Boring modes no fun just toxic and can't do challenges in high divisions.
No coop modes or fun modes to play .
Terrible gameplay .
Bad servers and no digit ping in a 2019 game lol.
Charge me and others for a worse game each year and not even giving us what we wanted .
Control is gone feels like only playing with top players is way to avoid bs and play in bad gameplay.
FIFA points need removing and then stop rivals bring back seasons .
Get some fun mode to play with all kinds of teams .
Stop adding mechanics that not anyone cares about .Timed shooting is so cringe and keeper movements don't even go there .

Yeah if your not going to use the wings it’s better to put them on stay back and use a narrow formation. Open field possession is easy you have to do something with it when you get to the box.

Truth is I don't really like the game much, played it a lot since release, finishing rank 3 in rivals every week so far and have completed the squad battles milestone but the only thing that kept me going was hoping on good pulls and team building, the actual gameplay is tedious.
Dropped it like a rock now rdr2 is out on pc, just left club ticking over doing bpm on the app.

Looked like you had fullbacks open especially when he would offside trap to try to make you go forward. A lot of over passing and holding possession.
That’s why I said he kept on dwelling in the middle and just hoping opponent to make mistake and give him space. It’s not the way to break down drop back defense or any defense that are back to position already.

I notice if my team is even on any width my players try play off room left on the out side .
If I play narrow my team goes wide lol .
Hence why I'm baffled as people can ruin your tactics and passing with just AI defence.
It's something alot of people don't notice but look at ittalion stallionhe has showed us why AI make no sense in attacking and defence .
Look at my clips if you can from other good gameplay to bad I've got loads.
I hate it that we can't have a replay with controller inputs .
As my player right stick 90% of time fails.
And even more in the patch now I feel less switch time and same for delay in gameplay.
I feel your that one guy atm who won't look to side with anyway judging you only talking about a bad game I experience lol .
Please show me your gameplay and I'll mabye take it in if it's good .
As even watching half the top pros there delay is just as bad and mistakes.

However you are claiming that the game is boring and you have nothing to learn. Ridiculous. How about start to attack from the wing instead of dwelling in centre just hoping opponent made a mistake? How about ask your SB to stay back if you have absolutely no intention to use them during attack?

This is one clip and I was in bad horrible gameplay againts drop back.
My cdms are on balanced and my defence is too.My players was fine before patch and I have many clips to prove so .
Tactics can change from updates but players on balanced with attacking also on balanced felt ok before.
My players should not feel different each game as how can i adapt to the game or enjoy it.
Playing in these games is stessfull and looking after is a whole different story as it's not in the moment.
I play a wide variety of passing down wings and also love many winger formations.
Only mode what is good for movement atm is 11v11 for me as it's more manual defence and fun .
But FUT should be fun to play and not just a drop back fast build fest.
I don't understand why attacking for me aspects I see got bad as to flow a game now in delay is near impossible.
No way this will left but can they resolve it after 6 updates already ?
Okay, you gave positive response. I appreciate that and then let’s talk about details.
First of all, balance setting for BOTH full back is never ok in 20. Genuine comments. You are really lucky that you aren’t punished before. At least one has to stay back. Another setting for CDM is at least one has to be between the defenders. So this setting allows you to have at least 4 at the back when being countered. This is extremely important. Anytime when it’s less than 4 you are just a step away from conceding a goal. A triangle pass down the line and a low cross to the far post and that’s it. You can do nothing. I would go that far to say I know I am going to win easily if opponent has only 3 players staying back when attacking.
FYI, I have one SB balanced and one staying back.
Secondly, regarding how to attack from the wing, and why I said you didn’t use your SB, is because you didn’t pass to them to start the play. SB should be the one to start the whole wing play process, not your winger. I know you want your SB to go up automatically when your winger has the ball, and due to whatever reason your SB didn’t. It’s not the best option. You should pass the ball to your SB first, and then use pass and run to twigger the SB run. This is a lot harder to defend because most of the time your opponent would not be able to control the winger to chase back your SB, and thus created a short window for you to have 2 attackers (SB and Winger) against 1 defender (SB). You should then be able to bring the ball into the penalty area with speed, and the whole drop back defense line is broken up for you to exploit.
In comparison, if you just pass to your winger and wait for SB to run, even if it’s successful, most of the time the SB would just be able to reach the corner flag which is too far away from the penalty area. This is useless unless you are a great dribbler that you can cut in there. Not a good option in my opinion.

Gameplay: Should be enjoyable instead it's frustrating.
Servers: Should be consistent instead they're terrible.
Microtransactions: Should be controlled legally, EA developers getting rich off the back of u18s who do not have the intuition to realise the game is designed in a way to frustrate you into wanting to spend money to improve your team.
Pros/Youtubers: (In my opinion the most annoying thing about this game) They talk online so enthusiastically about the game as if it's still enjoyable and I have no idea how, when I lose I feel like I had minimal control over what was happening on the pitch and when I win I do not feel rewarded in the slightest.
This game is garbage and I hope EA crumble and PES takeover and EA lose a large percentage of their customers. The casuals who play for fun and do not like the garbage gameplay and servers, the long time fifa fans who just cannot stand it anymore, the illegality of microtransactions stopping under 18s pouring money into it and the pros/youtubers who will no longer have an audience.

90% of posts here are just over reaction and can't see bigger picture what kind of product we have here. I can agree with majority of complaints and yet there isn't a doubt in my mind that we are much better with Fifa than without it.
I've completely forgot about ALL other games on my PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and Switch - the early season of every Fifa is so exciting and addictive.
Even bad mechanics we are struggling with, bad servers that cause lot of lag and rage quits, it's really not enough so we just keep playing and moaning on the forum. It's a testimony of how good core gameplay is and stupidly future-proof FUT concept.
So the real question for OP is
This game is a joke and if anyone don't agree I want to know why and the reason you think it's ok to play.
Are you aware why do you keep playing? Don't seek validation, these are valid points of course, but look deep inside and look for that emptiness Fifa is trying to fill. Why is it working so well?

I did on release. The results didn’t bother me because the gameplay was enjoyable, there was freedom and had an actual skillgap.
Fast forward a month and 6 patches later and it’s one of the most horrendous games I’ve ever had the misfortune to play.

I was experiencing bad gameplay in that clip aswell as someone who was on drop as I asked him after .
I use my fullback alot but some games it won't let them get in space on wide opening .
This is not best clip to show either as it's in delay so everyone won't move smooth or feel it either .
I had in the clip balanced everything except I'm not getting same movement each match and feel .
Let's be honest it's easy to watch a clip and get away with saying this could of been done .
I was not asking for anyone to say about a tied boring match but how I feel in most games as it's frustrating.
If you look at my feed on my clips I have some with same tactics in completely different position with same tactics .
The game should feel same with responsiveness as it does mess up everything.

I did on release. The results didn’t bother me because the gameplay was enjoyable, there was freedom and had an actual skillgap.
Fast forward a month and 6 patches later and it’s one of the most horrendous games I’ve ever had the misfortune to play.
I never care about losing if my opp better or I'm doing the wrong actions but lately it's 0 skill involed counter cut back.
Football is not like this at all .

You sounds like it’s days and nights pre and post patch. In a way I disagree with it but it’s fine.
The problem is you will come back to play no matter what. Action speak for itself. So should EA take your words seriously? Should EA ignore the hard numbers like the revenue and number of players online?
If I don’t reply you, your post would just get a few people agreeing with your points or add their own rants. And then that’s it. Sunk to the bottom of the sea. Useless.

It's not night and day to some but I notice literally every time there is a change to small details lol.
I've played religious fifa now for over a decade and now it's like a other nightmare to play to me.
What do think of the game anyway as would like to here a positive Apart from that crossing is not OP or La crocodiles is gone.
