Missing player pick

I finished gold 2 this week in fut champs / weekend league and therefore due two 1/4 player picks.
On rewards granting time I opened the mobile app (iOS) to open and saw both picks there.
I opened the first pick and chose Pasalic from the four choices (they weren’t great!). I selected “send to club” at which point the app hung (went grey as though it’s loading), displayed an error message and instantly restarted on its own.
On restarting, it opened and showed my division rival rewards but no second player pick, even after I selected what division rewards (untradeable) I want.
I have spoken to live chat support and they cannot help (basically saying they cannot grant content and only see it was granted two picks) and therefore it was a development issue.
Please can someone help, I am missing some of my rewards!
