My two cents... seeing as the game's decline in quality has directly coincided with them making more and more money wouldn't at all surprise me if EA execs purposely leave the game in it's sorry state as, sadly, frustration leads to spending. Game is now tailored in such a way you have to open packs and by doing so EA have created a monstrosity that preys upon addiction, deliberately toys with emotions and in doing so empties the wallets of people who simply can't help themselves despite knowing all the pitfalls before them.

I spent 20 at the start of the game and havent bought single fp since usually i spend 200-300 on it . There is no point of building a team when game is unplayable

And yet it seems for every person who's cut back on spending such as yourself they've been replaced by 2 or 3 spending at record numbers.

Those figures are up to end of September so only a week of that is FIFA 20 (albeit launch week when I imagine a fair chunk is thrown at it). Though it's even more bizarre that so much was being spent on the previous version which for much of those six months was effectively a dead game

I genuinely don’t think 20 is that bad, especially compare with 18 and 19. So it does make sense to me that revenue is up.
