I think we can all agree the game itself is in a pretty poor state and has been for the last two years. Servers are atrocious, gameplay riddled with faults, FP's wildly overpriced, content not exactly lacking yet hardly setting the world on fire and still EA are making bank...

My two cents... seeing as the game's decline in quality has directly coincided with them making more and more money wouldn't at all surprise me if EA execs purposely leave the game in it's sorry state as, sadly, frustration leads to spending. Game is now tailored in such a way you have to open packs and by doing so EA have created a monstrosity that preys upon addiction, deliberately toys with emotions and in doing so empties the wallets of people who simply can't help themselves despite knowing all the pitfalls before them.
