Im at a complete and utter Fifa low
I don’t understand what’s happened since the last patch but my players are so slow and unresponsive whilst my opponents are everywhere, winning every 50/50, reacting first to everything and taking the ball straight off me with ease.
I just played a game and we both had red Griezmann and lenglet but his two were lightning fast, lenglet took the ball everytime as if it was nothing and his Griezmann hit every shot and breezes past my defence.
I don’t exactly know what I’m asking tbh but I just don’t know what to do is every game

It works for me. I would show you the match I have recorded with Giroud, Haller, Morales, etc scoring in their debut ( do you remember the objective ? ). Also playing with a gold team ( a new one ) will make him feel less pressure to win. He will probably get that win or at least a draw. And then one the losing streak finishes he will feel more confident to continue with his regular team.

Have you tried deleting your team and play with one created from zero with all gold cards? Well, when I´m in a losing streak of 3 games I create a gold team from zero ( Giroud, Morales, Lo Celso, Pulisic ) and play. Giroud has scored more than Ben Yedder this way 
Then try again with your team.

It’s most likely connection and server related. Some days are unplayable for me - Fri eve, sat and sun daytime. All after the most recent patch. I’ve never had real noticeable delay in any Fifa aside from this last week.

Biggest problem is at some points in the day gameplay doesn’t feel synced, examples:
You’ll be in the perfect position to tackle. You press the button but it does some weird animation which ultimately results in the ball going past and you bouncing off his attacker for oppo to go through.
Another one, you go to close down to make a tackle but your player slows down as he approaches the other player and doesn’t get close to the oppo to the point he can dribble around your defence with one player
I had these happen for and against me last week. Was easy to tell when it was in my favour because every time I did close control dribbling the opponents defenders would never be able to turn in time to keep up. Weirdest thing is in some games it was happening to both teams and some games it was one or the other
Issue is what you see happening on your screen isn’t what’s actually happening. The ball or the player might be a few centimetres off so when you input a command it can’t do it.
This became a major problem after the most recent update. Never had it before then.

Have always been an elite 3 player, always been in division one, have won division one at least a hundred times. Im in division 3 currently after jsut being relegated from 2. Idk what the hell it is, but i cannot get better at this fifa. I feel my goals are given to me and my actual good goals arent rewarded its ****

I am on a 10W 37L stretch since last Friday, was Div 4 nowI think 6, not even sure, same issues with players and it is like my opponents have the old legacy defending but really amped up. In that stretch I think I lost like 18 in a row.

Obviously your a good / experienced player if u are div 1, but have u tried playing with a weaker team?
I have noticed that if I used sane team in div rivals as I use in WL funny (or not so funny) things happen.
But when I switch back to my start up team those funny things start going in my favour!

i get accused of hogging possession but if my players dont move and the ball moves so slowly that by the time my player receives it hes closed down already then i cant do much.

You can't really base your skill level on the past few FIFA's since they have been absolutely horrendous and heavily P2W affected. Plus some players suffer from bad servers more than others. It pretty much creates a level playing field if you are stuck in mud all the time and input is delayed and / or unresponsive. This FIFA is all about dropback and counter, plus keeping the ball as long as possible. Pass to striker, few little dragbacks and just shoot with players with good shooting stats and / or 5* WF. Playing like that is very effective and people will actually think they are pretty decent. Combine that with how much the game is doing for you and you can pretty much lose to anyone with hands.....

Your not on your own I’ve went from comfortable in div 3 now within 2 weeks I’m now around 900pts struggling in div 6
My players can’t even make simple passes I’m getting absolutely horrendous input delay my players just wont respond they all stuck in the mud
Sitting with roughly 5mil team and have no Real desire To play

yesterday i faced a guy who had Inaki Williams....I know he's a good player, but he was literally flying across the pitch and my defenders couldn't catch him in any way....and they got slammed to the ground when they managed to get close
the last patch really messed up everything (and it was bad enough before).

Just stop caring as much and just move on game after game, record means nothing to me, I only care for objectives and coin rewards from div rivals. This game shouldn’t make you feel that way and you shouldn’t let it either. When the rewards are utter **** every week the seriousness of the game appeals less n less, just enjoy what u can and don’t take the game too seriously.

I live just outside of birmingham and the button delay is like I'm using AOL dial up instead of my hard wired fibre 😔

I created a thread a few days ago with literally the same problem, for the past week or so I literally cannot do a thing on this game. It's like I suddenly lost any ability I had at the game overnight, I'm not a great player but I'm not terrible by any means. Always a G1 or E3 player in WL with 22 wins last weekend.
My players can't pass the ball properly, always under hitting passes. My players can't control the ball properly and it's funny you mention Griezmann as I have him as well. I was free in the box with Griezmann with an easy shot on goal. So I slowed him down to compose him to take a finesse shot on his left foot. Yet he literally blasted it high and wide, when I checked the replay after the game, the aim arrow was placed perfect on target.

Since the last patch my game and players just feels so heavy, lethargic etc. While my opponents are whizzing around playing quick passes and winning every 50/50.
Wow, so what’s the play here are we just supposed to wait for another patch

This is crazy that this is happening to people and ea just carry on ignoring it, I’ve tried every combination of custom tactics and formations but nothing is working.
It’s like there’s secret controls that every is just keeping to themselves.
I went 11-2 last weekend(I only play to silver 1 due to being busy) this weekend 11 wins and 2 games remaining!

Mate it's been same for me went from div2 to 4 and it's so slow I can't pass or turn .I see alot of us are getting it and I'm on wired also with 200mb And low ping under 20ms to my isp. I live I Coventry and my friends from here and Birmingham are getting delay alot .

The game has been EA’d right up again. Was struggling for motivation so sold off what I had so I could buy my fav player Lineker to try and enjoy the game and it was a little better but today has been awful.
It’s apparent that top class strikers can’t score but opponents can blast goals in with players with no more than 80 shooting and has forced players to be elite at cut backs in the box. It also feels like drop back, PTB and constantly blocking is so OP again.

I'm finding it difficult too.
Last year div3/4 player, this year stuck in div6.
Was on almost 1000 skill points last week, now down in div7 on 685 points.
Last night trying to get into div6 before rewards...got to 726 points, needed 24 to get promoted, won a game...got given 22 points lost the next game, deducted 35 points.
I gave up.
