I am just wondering (I'm not complaining just want clarification so next time I can hope again) 

Basically I finished 26-4 with a  2222 skill rating, that put me 101 in the world just missing out on top 100, the rewards had literally dropped just now, and I got top 100 rewards finishing 93, so my guess is that they have removed a few people who were either cheating or glitching. Just wondering if this is the case so next time I can also hope to get top 100 when falling so close. 

Is there that many cheats on pc then to allow them to finish high?
