Record Breaker's RTG: 20 Seasons (Kit Help)
Welcome to my Fut 20 Road To Glory: Record Breakers Challenge! For Fut 20 I have decided that I will be trying to break some real life Football Records with my team FC Selgarr based in LaLiga Santander. It is just a bit of fun and whether or not I beat the records will depend upon how well I play.
This is the team that I will be using in FUT 20. All matches for trying to beat the Football Records will be played in Division Rivals. I will play other game modes like FUT Champs and Squad Battles but that will be with other players and teams and will be mainly to get the fitness up for my Record Breaker team.
1- I will not buy any Fifa Points
2- I will only open bronze and silver packs with coins
3- I will not open any gold packs with coins
4- I will open bronze, silver and gold packs from any SBC'S, rewards, objectives etc.
5- All Matches must be played in Division Rivals
6- If a player is injured then he misses the matches, cannot apply healing cards
7- If a player is suspended then he misses the matches
8- If my opponent rage quits then the match doesn't count
It will run for 40 weeks and every two weeks will be one season. So I will be playing 20 seasons in total.
For the first season I will be in the Champions League group stage, but for all of the following seasons the European competition I am in (Champions League/Europa League/not in European competition) will depend upon my final league position at the end of each season. The 20 seasons that I play will have both Club and International matches.
I will be using a league simulator to be able to put up a league table at the end of each season. I will keep track of all my results from Division Rivals and this will be used to complete the seasons. I will also be using a simulator to get results for all other club matches, including Domestic Cup matches and any European matches. For Season 1 my club FC Selgarr will be replacing Leganés in La Liga.
For International matches I will not be simulating any results because it just gets too complicated. To keep it simple for International matches I will be using a Random Number Generator to decide how many matches each player plays.
The RNG will choose between 0 and 18 to see how many matches each player plays during a season. I came up with these numbers by looking at ten football players and seeing how many matches they have played in their career:

That's epic. You could record fastest goal scored in game time. Maybe you can clip some of your best goals and have a forum voted goal of the season competition.

I'm not sure what the World Record is for youngest player in history but I am assuming it would be younger than any player that is in FUT 20?

I'm not sure what the World Record is for the fastest goal in history, but its probably straight from kick off and something like 5 seconds. When playing Fut you cannot get information that detailed, it's just 1 min, 2 min etc?
I like the idea of saving my best goals and having a goal of the season competition. Thanks for the suggestion

I have simulated the first season and removed the results for my club Selgarr. I will update the table after I have played the Division Rivals matches.
Between now and the RTG starting I will try and get enough coins to buy the players I want.
Can anyone think of any other records I could add to try and break? I was thinking of adding Champion's League records but I don't know if I will be finishing high enough up the league table every season to be qualifying for Champion's League football

I have decided that my RTG will start on Monday 21st October and will finish on Sunday 26th July. So that's 280 days (40 weeks) and hopefully I will have enough coins to buy all of the players before the start date.
If I haven't got enough coins to buy the players then I may have to change some of the players for cheaper alternatives.

I just noticed that Cristiano Ronaldo has 1,004 appearances. Does anyone think he will overtake Peter Shilton who has the most career appearances with 1,390?
I don't think he will because although he's only 34 and could still play for another 5,6,7 or 8 years (if he stays fit) he would still need 387 matches.

Unfortunately I haven't got early EA Access but I have been on the web app and have been getting a team ready for playing when the game comes out. This is the team I've got ready at the moment:
How do you get the Icon kits? I've searched on the web app for Kits>Icons but nothing comes up . If I can't get them then I will have to choose a different kit for my RTG.

I have decided that I am going to change some of the players in my team. Players like Tousart, Amian and Firpo are too low rated and I think I will need higher rated and better players to be able to compete in matches. Especially in a couple of months when I am playing against newly released special cards and Icons.
I have been playing some rivals matches and whilst I am doing okay the now, I think I will struggle with some of these players. I watched the Tottenham 2-7 Bayern match and it's made me really want to get Gnabry for my team!
So if I have Gnabry at RW and Kimmich at RB, then who would be better at RCM, NIF Havertz or OTW Brandt?
