Thinking about it a bit more, it could be released as an objective next Friday in order to ensure it doesn't take any of the limelight away from the start of the new season this Friday (and the new set of icon tokens, assuming they're released Friday as well) and to ensure there's no clash with the Vela POTM SBC.
Sounds a bit of a wait between the announcement of MVP and the card actually being released, but there was quite a wait last year for Martinez MVP which also happened to be objective based.
It’s nothing compared to last years wait so I’ll be happy if we get him by the end of November

@Gnomenclature the final POTM, mentioned in that article, was for September and final round of fixtures (pre-playoffs) at the beginning of October. Stats wise Ibra should of won it. There isn't a POTM covering any of the playoff games unfortunately.
We should get the MLS league SBC soon, will be interesting to see the players picked for that. And maybe a flashback or something similar could come along at some point too.
