Is this true @EA_Andy ? If so, this will be something that I will moan about. These have been a great feature of FUT for the past few years, and enjoyed by all.

without league SBCs then 99% of cards are now pointless.
Why do bronze cards even exist?
This will kill the transfer market for many cards.
The league SBC s were a relaxing hobby in their own right, a great way to wile away some time. Without them, and daily content cannot see myself staying much longer.
Fifa is as much a card collecting game as a football sim, and probably the part i like best

The main issue with getting rid of the league sbc is the fact that it got people on Fifa more.
Yes they may help some make coins, but the majority will lose. Whatever happens with coins in the game, they all have to go somewhere. Whether it is in one investors account or spread over 100. It really shouldn’t matter if traders profit. Coins are initially generated from playing the game or buying packs. Eg: all are derived from EA’s reward system or their “random” packs distributed by them.
It would be a shame if they were to not be a thing. They help people early doors get some usable players and have a bit of fun with the packs.

If this turns out to be true, it means EA are actively looking to stop the enjoyment of its player base. Its almost as if the want people to stop playing the game. Taking league sbcs out the game wont make me buy fifa points. In fact it will just push me away from the franchise because the delay mess of a football game wont be enough to keep me interested.
They have taken out icon sbcs and now potentially leagues, so now i wont be able to work towards the icons that i enjoy using, and 99.9% of the cards that i pack will be totally useless.

I could see this being true. EA limiting ways to make coins. But at the same time, no League or Icon sbc’s would put the content in a bad spot. Fifa 19 people only played for the content. This game since the patch is going to go the same route. So they will massively have to step up the content in other areas.

Can definitely see it being true because of the amount of coins the method produces along with the amount of players price fixed last year (eg Wolves). Not saying I agree with it but it does sound a realistic thing.

It won't disappear, but we need some transparency because there will be people out there that have been preparing for leagues from day 1. It's not fair on those players if league SBCs are not in the game. Of course there will be those that argue that it serves those people right for trying to profit off others, but that isn't the point.
The point is, if our expectations were set at the beginning, i.e. "there will be no league SBCs this FIFA, however there will be this"...then people would have been annoyed, but would have been fully informed before the games release.
These have been part of the game for about 4 years (I think), to remove them without telling us (if they have), just isn't fair.

I've refrained from being critical about content so far...but if this is true, I'll be seriously annoyed. I haven't invested in leagues yet, but they were something that I enjoyed immensely. Yes I profited from them, but I also built an excellent 433 team using many of the players from those last year and it won me loads of games. So I actually use the players too.

They can just make them repeatable only for the players that they release...2 players means complete twice. It's really that simple.

I've been prepping Serie A. Not for profit but solely because I'd like one of the player picks once completed. I can't imagine I'm the only one in that particular boat.

I knew when they hired FutEconomist that SBC’s would be rough this year. That guy was one of (if not THE) most knowledgeable people in the community when it came to how to make coins from SBC’s, they were never going to use that knowledge to help us.
