Ballack - Has no stamina, he is slow for CDM and tbf is expensive on the market but surely has to be overpriced.
Pirlo- Serious dribbler/passer but that's it. I already have LW greizmann playing CM, same type of player.
Keane- no way will he be as good as Kante, who is cheap. He is my second choice right now though.
Carlos- this is where my heads at, to replace andy Robertson. Only thing is his stamina is low, has no defensive awareness.
Crespo- I'm using 88 Michael Owen who gets a goal a game, crespo could free up 600k in my team but I've heard he is hard to use, his stats suggest this too.
Any advice appreciated...

Honestly I’d go for Carlos or Crespo. Crespo has decent stats besides passing and his composure is way higher than most cards besides high end players. I picked up Carlos and I’m getting Crespo next unless the objectives are crazy hard, in which case I’m getting nesta. I think there will be even better cards in the next batch so I’m not super worried about this group.

U will find it hard to get better than Carlos at lb even at the end of the game that is the truth 99pace and acceleration amazing shooting and fairly decent defending stats heading is basically non existent so height is not a problem

Glad nestas worked out for you man. Kean is prob the best bet, will have the most use for you going forward and icons seem a bit wasted at full back. I was considering the nesta/kean combo but think I’m gunna go with Stevie g

I toyed with holding out for the base, but it didn't make sense. The mid is definitely the card to have if you're a Pirlo fan.
Problem for me is 800k+ for a card that isn't really "meta" is hard to justify when I don't have infinite coins and trying to stay competitive, I'd like to get him down the line though.
His special card the other year with 99 passing though, omg, that was a joy to play with.

Used Crespo. Very good but I feel replaceable and he's 430k
Pirlo on the market is cheap enough too at 500k
Keane has insane stats with some set backs.
I wish I'd gone for Zanetti tbh
When I bought Mid Michael Owen, straight away I regretted not considering his prime. No one likes him IRL so no one uses him, or else they hate on him.. he is literally insane 😂

Im in the same boat as you; already picked Nesta which im quite happy with too.
Was going for Keane as "1st pick" but the last few days roberto carlos is getting in my head haha. I use telles now who i also really like but i made a squad on futbin with all the players in the game that i would choose if coins was no issue. Keane didnt make it due to the likes of Vieira and Gullit (how realistic it is to get their non baby version is a different question) but Roberto Carlos did make it since he seems to be the best LB in the game right now. Only point holding me back is that if i dont take keane id probably rather have taken Rio in hindsight which is impossible now since i already got Nesta; and that Carlos is his baby version versus keanes prime. The middle version looks like quite a upgrade to baby carlos. It has little bit less dribbling but way better fysical and passing; and in the dribbling stats the middle one has quite better reactions plus composure.
And i do think Keane is not comparable to gullit or vieira but dont think he is quite far from them. By that i mean that if you look to the players just below gullit and vieira he is one of the best after them. Especially if you use him as CDM only.
but yeah im probably not the best guy to ask since it seems like im getting more and more confused each day
Are you me? After reading this I made up my mind, your right about carlos middle being a big upgrade so I've decided on Irelands finest, Roy Keane. 😂 He was insane last year so his prime would hardly be downgraded this year.

Yeah has to be keane or carlos. Thing about carlos I like is, when am i ever going to spend 600k on a left back this year if I dont get him. He should compliment Nesta aswell.

I'm in the get zanetti boat or get nesta and pirlo.
I'm building a AC/Inter icon hybrid.
Had 91 Baggio early and used 87 Zambrotta also. Both excellent but 91 MVB and 90 Rivaldo my current pair.
I wouldn't get any cards base icon apart from the very top tier cards. Composure is a key stat for me and Carlos doesn't have it.
Zanetti would plug the week link in seria A and be end game but the danilo story card looks excellent too.
As for Roy Keane his prime card is outstanding. Built a United icon team last year. Keanes positioning is immense defensively and always available for a pass plus his long shots were brilliant too. Scored far more than I expected. I played him CDM in 4132. Prime Giggs LM, Prime Scholes CM, Prime RVN up top and base Rio in defense. Good team.
Giggs crossing was next level shame what they've done with this year's game.
