Link him to Matuidi who also carries French links. Matuidi with a shadow has icon level defensive stats. I tried to buy middle Pep and couldn’t when I compared stats.

I plan to get him and my only way is to resort to starting him as a CDM and switching ingame. It means a CB partnership of De Ligt and Chiellini which I imagine is far from ideal.
