@EA_Aljo  Hi I am also facing the same problem, I am unable to connect to EA servers on FIFA ultimate team using my LAN connection.. It takes several attempts to get connected even if I get connected the connection is not very stable. I don't have any problem using my mobile hotspot. I follow the instruction you have just mention I power cycle my entire equipment I open ports and I also change my DNS nothing works. The problem is in for more than 3 weeks now kindly help.

Have been kicked out of ~20 games since yesterday. All the other games on my PS4 are working fine so there is no issue with my internet connection. It´s because the result depends more on the game's decisions than yours and the gameplay is more and more random. So, having better players means nothing since you can´t get the best of them. That´s why also the market is down. Why would you expend coins buying an icon if Rashford, Lucas, Sissoko are similar or better than them? I´m not a good player and with a gold team, I´m facing really good squads and scoring with Giroud the same amount of goals than with Ibra Scream ( or more ). I notice myself that when I win those matches the game was clearly in my favor with rebounds, positioning, etc.

It´s the game mate. It has no logic. If I´d face a developer of this game and show him the videos I have recorded he will have no way to explain to me what´s going on. I don´t know if people record the games they play. I do, and I have more than 300 recorded. If I show you how defenders not controlled are moved out of position you won´t believe it ( of course my defenders or my rival defenders ) This game is like WWE. Nothing is real, it´s just a big show where we think we have control, but we have too little.

I´m not saying that there are not better and worst players. Sure, but if two players of the same level face each other most of the result is not decided by the skill but by outrageous gameplay. Otherwise, it won´t happen that facing the same team and with the same players from one day to another, you go from 5-0 to 0-6, or from 4-1 to 4-0.

I would like to ask a developer what´s the joke of making things this way. One goalkeeper saves anything and the other moves his hands away to let the ball in ( I have videos of that too ). Forwards with 99 finishing miss open chances but defenders with 48, in the same match, score from their home. I really don´t get the joke.

So don´t worry. Wait for a few games and all be back to normal. Better, do not play 2 days and let the game know you don´t like what's going on. You probably will pack a great player when you are back.

For me it’s got nothing to do with how fast your players run. When I have delay my payers don’t dribble properly. You know what the game should feel like, you know how your players react. So you notice when they take an extra touch before passing, or when you try to change direction before passing but they take too long to turn and you end up passing while facing the wrong way. That’s how I notice delay.

Something that’s very prominent this year compared to previous years is inputs not registering. I’m having lots of right stick movements just not going through. So frustrating just jogging into a defender expecting a skill move to pop that never comes out. Also shots and passes that don’t come out, I’ve had to turn off timed finishing so I can spam shooting, it’s not good.

I have been myself facing a lot of issues with my Careers that I seem to be the only one to face, the worst one being losing all signed deals between 1st and 2nd season.

Which prevented me so far from ever playing more than 1 season as a manager, so I am wondering if I would see face your issue too.

what I also want to say is that the CM is general is completely buggy and even with the latest Title update form today, there has never been more than cosmetic changes made to the CM. So I don't want to ruin your hope but mine is almost completely gone...

I've been facing the same issue and have submitted a case up to 10 times with the same explanation. 

I can't sign-in to EA servers in FIFA 20 and play it on PS4. I keep getting an option to verify through email but the email over there is not mine! I've asked for account recovery 10 times now with no reply and no success. I've spent on FIFA 20 but it's such a huge disappointment as I am unable to play FUT or online with my friends. I've been reaching out for the last 2 weeks and they keep closing the case and marking it as "Resolved" whereas it's anything but resolved. Can someone here please help me?

Thank you for your reply. I have already tried the steps you said  but no luck, so this is what happens.... When I send invitation or I get one  for online friendlies and when I accept the invitation and press on join after that the whole screen goes blank I am able to see only the background and then after a minute it says opponent has left the match. But at the same time we are able to play Co-Op seasons together. We also tried playing FUT but same problem like friendlies. Kindly guide as we are facing this since 4days now.

I'm also facing the same kind of problem but on FIFA 19. After the opening match, when profile is being created, it says that unable to save personal settings 1. 3 options are there - 1) Retry 2) Cancel 3) Continue without saving and none of the option helps. I proceed with 3). Also there are no files when I go to Settings> Delete. If I go to the settings menu to create a profile there, it says there isn't enough space available to save settings. But the fact is that I have about 100 gb free space on the Local disk C in which the FIFA 19 save files are saved in My Documents folder.

Basically, I have been playing Fifa for some time now and I don't know which idiot programmer could mess this up. 

I played Aston Villa on career mode, started off really fun and all and then I started to realise that big clubs and teams aren't playing their starting 11 right. They are playing their RESERVES team, basically, each position is not their best player. For example, against spurs, you have Eriksen, Son, Kane, Alderwield all on BENCH and those starting are like WINKS and all the other young players from reserves. I have tried and tested this with other teams, big teams like Manchester United had a significantly lesser issue but smaller clubs are always facing teams that are not playing their best 11. THIS RUINS THE EXPERIENCE AND IS GAME BREAKING. 

Even the league table is off. How can Manchester city by 11 and Liverpool be 8? While clubs like Norwich are at 5th after 13 games. This is honestly a big screw up from the programmers and clearly someone ain't doing their job right. I was excited to a see a patch today but it was for VOLTA. Which means, CAREER MODE still has this existing issues.

Even when I played as a player (Eg, Ronaldo in Manchester United) My manchester united team that started are all YOUTH and RESERVES like Angel Gomes, Garner, Mctom, Greenwood. While the Pogba Maguire all are all on BENCH. This is honestly pathetic. I mean who can even screw this up when you could have just used the same algorithm to determine the starting 11 and predicted league table from FIFA 19 or even earlier.

I am really astounded how this is NOT being mentioned from any Community managers or the company itself. All you guys talk about are FUT, VOLTA that concerns microtransaction. Does that mean that if Career mode has no microtransaction, EA is going to take us fans as fools and ignore these issues? FIFA 20 Career mode FIRST TEAM ISSUES. (INCORRECT STARTING 11 and atrocious league table)

Basically, I have been playing Fifa for some time now and I don't know which idiot programmer could mess this up. 

I played Aston Villa on career mode, started off really fun and all and then I started to realise that big clubs and teams aren't playing their starting 11 right. They are playing their RESERVES team, basically, each position is not their best player. For example, against spurs, you have Eriksen, Son, Kane, Alderwield all on BENCH and those starting are like WINKS and all the other young players from reserves. I have tried and tested this with other teams, big teams like Manchester United had a significantly lesser issue but smaller clubs are always facing teams that are not playing their best 11. THIS RUINS THE EXPERIENCE AND IS GAME BREAKING. 

Even the league table is off. How can Manchester city by 11 and Liverpool be 8? While clubs like Norwich are at 5th after 13 games. This is honestly a big screw up from the programmers and clearly someone ain't doing their job right. I was excited to a see a patch today but it was for VOLTA. Which means, CAREER MODE still has this existing issues.

Even when I played as a player (Eg, Ronaldo in Manchester United) My manchester united team that started are all YOUTH and RESERVES like Angel Gomes, Garner, Mctom, Greenwood. While the Pogba Maguire all are all on BENCH. This is honestly pathetic. I mean who can even screw this up when you could have just used the same algorithm to determine the starting 11 and predicted league table from FIFA 19 or even earlier.

I am really astounded how this is NOT being mentioned from any Community managers or the company itself. All you guys talk about are FUT, VOLTA that concerns microtransaction. Does that mean that if Career mode has no microtransaction, EA is going to take us fans as fools and ignore these issues? Also, I did get my WL matches back i did not get DNF nor did i get the win, so I'm thinking is this a problem from my opponent side(maybe?). Moreover, this is the first time i'm facing this continuous disconnection in WL. After the incident I played four more WL games and I got one disconnection again!

I am from Dubai too and facing the same issue since Fifa18.

We keep searching for more than 20 minutes to find a single game.
Sometimes it takes more than that time.

I have tried to change the server and it still the same.

We are not facing slow net issues, we all got 100mb/s +
No one of us have less than this connection speed, so the problem is from the servers.

Previously (fifa 17 and previous) we were not facing that issue and we were playing game after game, so please fix this issue.

quick update i finished the scoring objective and then the crossing objective began to count so i assumed its sequential which is not mentioned and considered wrong anyway i finished the 7 crosses using trossard and began to finish the 3 finesse goals in rivals and again i scored 4 finesse with trossard in one match and not a single goal was reflected on the objective which means i can never win the 87 OVR trossard player. so i went to check my case and report what im facing as a normal gamer on a respected platform. they closed my case with status RESOLVED i wonder a corrupted company like EA how many players come to them with such issues and tell them they never encountered such issue like this and leave them banging against the wall.

BTW the last support told me to list my problem on the forum to speed things up and no EA contact even replied to my discussion till now. what a waste of money

@Ginhon13Could just be the opposition you're facing. People tend to blame it on gameplay when in reality a good opponent will make it seem like your players are underperforming. And, that's natural! XD

Have you tried switching around your tactics? I will advise you to play with a more defensive formation and tactics if you feel you're defending is not good enough! I know mine isn't! :P

Could also just be input lag and a poor connection to or from your opponent.

People were complaining world class and legendary were on the same level so they increased legendary difficulty on last update.

I’m on the same boat, I play both weak squads on ultimate and can easily win while on legendary have trouble to win 1-0 when facing the strong ones sometimes.

It sounds like you may be having issues with your connection @Getting-them-in. I would suggest taking a look at our Connection troubleshooting steps which you can find here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/

It'll take you a couple of minutes to do them all but please do take the time and do them all.

@EA_Cade  Hey there, I have been facing the same issue. Let me explain it to you.

1st, through settings, I select only KEYBOARD

2nd, I go to the customize controls and go to the ALTERNATE TAB where, I assign my keys accordingly A - long pass, D - Shooting, E - Sprint, Left Shift - sheilding, W - Through balls etc. when i save these as CUSTOM A and get into online gameplay, be it FUT, FUT RIVALS, or Outside FUT, Online Club, these assigned keys dont function as they are supposed to instead only a single button does the above functions of shoot, slide tackle, short passes that is the button "S". Please help and fix this in the next update

I can't sign-in to EA servers in FIFA 20 and play it on PS4. I keep getting an option to verify through email but the email over there is not mine! I've asked for account recovery 10 times now with no reply and no success. I've spent on FIFA 20 but it's such a huge disappointment as I am unable to play FUT or online with my friends.
