FIFA 20 SPEED UP LAG
I am getting a lot of speed up lag in fifa 20. The lag is the same, if not more, than I experienced in fifa 19. I have attached a photo of my network connection, picture was taken seconds after a match I lost 5-1 due to around 15 cases of speed up lag during the game. I paid £81 for this game, it’s only been out for one day and I’m already experiencing ridiculous amounts of lag!

It has been like that for the last couple of days... i keep losing due to lags... while opponent is attacking i am not able to f***ing move in the right directon :/
They should fix it as i paid lots of money for it... it is outreageus now

Game lags in EVERY online game especially FUT ... any online match has a weird speed lag that freezes then it speeds up to catch up on what was lagging. I have spent a lot of money on this game and on fifa points. I demand a fix!! This is ridiculous!! Sad I can’t even play the game I spent so much money on every damn year

@EA_Cadei would like to know when you going to fix this fuckign issue cuz i am playing on a Ethernet cable on PC platform and i have this * speed lag/bug/spike call it however you want since last Saturday after some small update or something like that since then i cant even play 1 normal match no matter is it rival/fut or something else it just lag for 5-10 sec after that i cant control my players for more 5-10 sec and my opponent score or i just cant shoot cuz i am 1vs1 with the goalkeeper but i cant control my player so he just run with the ball and nothing (and before you say its not my internet its not my software or hardware this issue i have from 1 week and only here i have tested and played WoW, LoL, a lot of Steam games and 0 problems only here !!!!

Hey @JamesC5896 itsounds like you may be having issues with your connection. I would suggest taking a look at our Connection troubleshooting steps which you can find here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/
It'll take you a couple of minutes to do them all but please do take the time and do them all.

Hi @FRF83,
Speed up lag is a packet loss issue, it's caused by the game attempting to send data to us or your opponent and not being able to get through. You can resolve this 90% of the time by DMZing the console in your router or by playing on an ethernet cable instead of WiFi.
