Before i start, yes i know that hardly anyone plays tournament mode. but for the small minority like me, we’ve had a problem in our game mode which has been in the game since september and hasn’t been resolved. for me anyway, it’s only just started after the update. but i’ve seen people reporting the same thing happening to them months before it happened to me. 

basically, i’m trying to control all teams in EFL Championship and go through the whole season. However, when i get onto matchday 2 and try to get past game number 2, the game has a mental breakdown. if i play the game, it crashes when i press advance and if i simulate it, i can simulate the next few matches but when i go to save it, it will crash. the champions league tournament also has this glitch but it doesn’t matter if you play or simulate, the game will still crash when you go to save it. 

i reported this to the EA live chat and the guy who talked to me emailed me a number of troubleshooting methods after i closed the chat. i tried all of them including deleting fifa and waiting 2 hours for it to install and it doesn’t fix. past cases on here show no fix which gives me the impression that these people started playing another game mode, it magically fixed itself or people stopped playing fifa. if anyone has a fix i don’t know about, please let me know as i love tournament mode. i pay £50+ every year for fifa so i expect it to at least work in the way i want it to and glitches to be fixed straight away like other game developers do. hopefully some EA developers see this and get right on the case.
