Seriously, why do you think that scripting offline matches is a good idea?

The point of a game is to be fun so that the user keeps playing it, and nothing makes me want to stop playing a game more than being cheated out of a result. You don't even try to hide it, scripting is in the game, it's in the source code, and since I'm paying £60 a year for FIFA, I want to know why you're actively making the game less enjoyable for me, and pretty much everyone else.

Since you'll deny scripting, as you always do, I'd like to present:

PRIME EXAMPLES OF SCRIPTING IN OFFLINE (CAREER MODE) MATCHES

1. The user tries to make a simple pass, it goes in a completely different direction to where you passed it, ending up with an opposition AI player, from this point on the opposition AI will not lose the ball until a goal is scored.

2. If the user makes a substitution with the ball in play while leading, the opposition AI will score before your sub gets on.

3. The user's defenders push forward and spread out, leaving massive gaps for the opposition to exploit, this can't be stopped because you can't control an entire back line, this will happen even if the entire team are instructed to sit back and stay narrow. This usually results in a goal too.

4. The opposition AI scores impossible goals, goals that the user couldn't score in their wildest dreams; long range scorchers, kick-ups & flick over the head into a first time volley's, tiki-taka style passing goals where the defenders seemingly run out of the way, goals where the user goalkeeper will perform the wrong animation and let in easy shots for no reason, and the most blatant of all... Shots will seemingly infinite shot power that always (always) rise perfectly into the top corner.

You've all experienced at least a few of these, haven't you?

No matter what type of opposition you're playing, or how you're playing, none of it matters, if the game decides that you're conceding a goal, you're conceding a goal. End of Story.

Scripting is present in the FIFA series, and it has been for a long time.

Again, I'd like to know why EA thinks that this makes for a good game and why they think I'm gonna want to keep playing and buying more FIFA games.

(Also no career mode updates in like a decade is insulting, but that's a rant for another day)
