Please can someone help me before I pull all my hair out!

i have an EA account linked to my PSN which was set up by an ex girlfriend 5 years ago (when she bought me Fifa + PS4 as a gift).

I want to change the email address associated with my EA account so my ex doesn’t get notifications etc.

I can log in okay, but if I attempt to do this, she gets the verification code and forwards it to me. I enter it and it says ‘THIS CODE IS INVALID’ and we’ve tried this around 15-20 times.

i used the EA support and told them I have no access to the old email address so wish to change it. I fill out all the details Including IP addresses and dates of birth etc. But they STILL email the old email address asking for a verification code sent to my PS4 - which didn’t arrive.

i had to fill out a form all over again (as you can’t reply by email) to say that the code didn’t arrive, to which I was told that to recover my account I had to fill out the form all over again!!!?? Because they didn’t read my request properly.

i’ve been going round in a loop for nearly two weeks. With no number to call or an email exchange with one single person it seem

impossible to fix something that should be very simple.

N.B. I have my own EA account but my PS4 won’t let me ‘unlink’ or log out of the old one.
