Carvajal is miles better. Stronger, better positioning, doesn't lose a tackle. Pace is literally the only thing Semedo has on Dani.

Semedo is great, with good WR to match but just didn’t find he added anything other than pace. Am using scream trippier who is a lot more involved. Used carvajal for a few games too and he does the job. Not impressive but solid

Been swithering over the same. Or even scream tripper who people say is amazing but his stats really don't look that much better than nelson
But Nelson's m/h is really noticeable even with join the attack/attacking fullbacks onm

I have Semedo and he is solid but it took a good 50 games to get used to him. I used Carvajal in a draft and was very good. Like other have said he is strong and pace didn't seem an issue. Very smooth on the ball as well to carry the ball out of defence.

Semedo on 6 chem with a basic chem style is still an upgrade on a shadow carvahal

well as others said, semedo is just pace, nothing else.
wouldnt say carvajal is best non icon rb but hes def on #2 after sbc piszczek.

Yeah he always gets bullied off the ball for me but his pace helps keep up with anyone. Not a perfect card but surely the best right back in la Liga right now.

Carvajal (with a Shadow) > Scream Trippier > Semedo
Semedo is all pace, nothing else. Positioning is horrible, reactions slow, very weak, passing is shocking. People use him because of the pace and the links, that's it. Scream Trippier is a little better than Semedo. Carvajal needs a shadow for the pace boost, and with that, you have one of the best and most balanced non-icon RBs in the game. I tried all 3 and Carvajal is by far miles and miles better than Semedo, it's not even close. If you play with both you'll notice the difference.

I packed untradeable Semedo and now playing him, honestly prefer Sergi Roberto. Yes, Semedo is fast af, but he really does not offer anything going forward and I am not playing fullbacks on stay back.
