Should EA really stop this behaviour,, and how?

I think it’s just psychological more than anything for people that do that, you only get 3 subs and these guys don’t care about the cost of squad fitness cards, so there’s no real downside to doing it. That said, I’ve done it before as an experiment and it really doesn’t seem to affect matchmaking

The thing is, if I have icons on the bench or starting lineup, I always get icons for the next few matches, even if I don't have them on the bench or starting lineup, so something must be wrong in your statement

Not only that, but Rivals is busted as well. You get people from Div 4/5 dropping down to div 8/9/10 and you get the average players beating those who want to have fun, it isn't fun for them when I beat them, that's why most rage quit thinking I've dropped divisions on purpose to complete objectives

For the millionth time. Nobody bronze benches to play weaker teams. People bronze bench because the theory is a lower team rating will result in less, how should I say, reduced very odd occurrences happening in your games. That said, it’s harder to bronze bench this year with all the yellow cards. You need backups for a lot of positions. Hard to see out a lead with a bunch of defenders on a yellow IMO.

Teams are not matched on team rating! This is a fact! The reason people bronze bench is for a well known old age exploit which everyone knows about. Although it was never ever confirmed when pros where doing it, others followed.

I tested this, this year and I actually think they have made a concerted effort to penalise you for bronze benching this year. Iv played numerous games with both and I’m telling you know my team plays awful when Iv bronze benched, I now never bronze bench!! Probably all in my head either way but if I come up against a 83 rated team who has Messi , ronaldo and naymar I’m actually happier than if it was 89 rated.

Earlier this fifa I was gold benching out of habit, then I just went strongest squad possible and there really is no difference whatsoever.
I've been matched up with low 80's while mine is at 87/88
