Career Mode - Scouting Issue

So I've been having trouble on Career Mode on FIFA 20 on Xbox One.

 

The scouting system has completely broken in season 2. I'm no longer able to scout players. My scouts who have been sent out find some players but when I ask them to scout specific players I'll go forward a few days and it says they aren't being scouted. So I tried recalling my scouts and sent them to different countries and then the same thing still happens. For me this is game breaking as scouting players is a big part of the career mode.

I've tried googling for any answers but this issue hasn't seemed to have been solved despite other players raising it.

I've been playing FIFA for over 20 years but if this isn't fixed then I don't think I'll buy one again.

 

Any help on how to fix this issue?

Hi @DOGG0 

I have been myself facing a lot of issues with my Careers that I seem to be the only one to face, the worst one being losing all signed deals between 1st and 2nd season.

Which prevented me so far from ever playing more than 1 season as a manager, so I am wondering if I would see face your issue too.

 

what I also want to say is that the CM is general is completely buggy and even with the latest Title update form today, there has never been more than cosmetic changes made to the CM. So I don't want to ruin your hope but mine is almost completely gone...

I found that my scouts weren't scouting anyone. when i looked towards the end of the season, all of them said "scout available". I didn't know we had to send them out every season.

I am also having this issue. During the second season my scouts are always busy while scouting nobody. When I do get to assign them the players disappear a day or so later. I have had this issue for at least the last two Fifas and all I see on these forums are “we will send this to the correct dept or person, etc” with no actual solutions. I have tried to relocating and replacing methods to no avail. You can really tell career mode isn’t what makes EA money.

Hi I have same issue but half way threw my 1st season and I stop them all scouting and start them again for it not to do anything even after a day skip it’s annoying how can they possibly solve all issues for online but leave career to be poor

I have the same issue. My scouts say they’re busy when they’re scouting no one. Never buying a FIFA game again.
