Two icons. Rio isn’t end game so may as well have two. Never know when/if an icon might be needed too

Just since nobody has mentioned this a icon will Never be required for a sbc.
Go back and read the early pitch notes regarding icons, EA said that this year icons will not be required for sbcs to stop them being used for sbc fodder.
At some point we should have base/middle/prime icon packs (from what I make from the notes) however these won't be specific players and will just be a random icon. These won't require icons but to unlock the sbcs.

There are 12 tokens up now, I believe the objectives end friday, somebody might be able to confirm. There will be another 12 objectives released most likely Friday with another 12 tokens. So 24 In total. You have 44 days until this set of icons expire before this you need to swap what tokens you have for the players you want. Tokens gained now will be useless after that 44 days.
Icon set 2 will then start probably around xmas time to keep old players active and encourage new players who have got the game as presents. I suspect the format will be the same 2 sets of 12 tokens avaliable 30 days apart but nobody knows for sure.

I believe you can still use the first icon swap cards on the second phase of icon swap. It says it will expire in 45 days

No. Completely overhyped because his prime is so good. Base Rio is basically identical to what an inform Eder militao would look like. But then again, everyone has a different perspective on the game and the level of cards they use though out the year. For some base rio could be great to use until tots. For me, he would probably last until February at the longest.

Just a quick question on the whole Icon Swaps thing... Will the current objectives for the Icon Swaps stay until the first batch of icons is done, or will more icon swaps be offered but the icons available stay?
My question is hard to understand but I hope someone gets it...

Nesta and Carlos. Nesta is as good as VVD, I have both. If Carlos is more than 11 tokens then someone else, but Nesta is gold.

February is a ways into the game though. My initial thoughts were Zanetti as he looked endgame, but I’ve seen a lot of hype around rio and Carlos so was unsure

Rio may not be end game but is he good enough to use until tots? I haven’t used him in years past.

I will only have a maximum of 23 at the moment as I havent played on weekends.
I have 11 so far and want Ian Wright. I would have taken Pep too but i'd need 24. Oh well.
I picked up Bergkamp (87) to play behind Ian Wright in the 4-4-1-1 (2) formation and Bergkamp seems ridiculous so far. His passing is the best of anyone i've used in the game and he is lethal anywhere near the goal. I have a hunter on him.
