Why we can't change our club name in FUT ?!
Once accomplished, the goal "Rename your club" in the section "Foundations", no longer allow us to change the name of the club, and the option is not found elsewhere.
According to some contact with the support of the game, this is indeed impossible. As well as if you remove your club to try to get back on track, the game will automatically assign you a team name. And guess what? The seasons goals do not restart at zero, is it logical? If you decided to start from scratch, why still have the goals of the previous club accomplished?
PLEASE EA , FIX THAT !

@EA_Andy thank you for your response. Please make something with this in the upcoming patches because many people have this problem that they didn't know that change the clubs name in the objectives is the only way. Me personally I picked a random name because I knowed that I can change it back with the catalogue item but unfortunetely... Please make something to give us a second change to change it again. Yes EA, please make something about this. It's like I don't enjoy playing with my random name and I really don't understand why is it that hard to change your club name in a game. If I was EA I would make it changeable how many times players want... Please make an update or something and give us a second change to rename it. Thanks!

I think in the old FIFAs, you could also rename your club only once. So it should be the same as before.

Yeah sure, but would you like to have displayed on the top left of your screen a team name that does not correspond to you, permanently? Something like "Aachen VFB" "FC Rosario" "Sint-Truiden" ? I don't think so

I've already try to go on FIFA 19, buy in the shop the "rename fut club", i've renamed my club but when i go back in FIFA 20 there is always the same club name ..

The problem here is that in truth I wanted to keep my club name. Starting my FUT season, I wanted to remove my club because I got in trouble starting on bad bases.
So, with my first club, I achieved the goals of foundations, and only then did I cancel my club.
Unfortunately I did not think for one second that a team name would be assigned to me randomly, if I had known I would not have to delete my club via the option proposed in game

Everyone is aware that you can change the club name, and are encouraged to do so to complete one of the objectives, however there is subsequently no way to change it back. FWIW IMO it should either be that the name can't be changed at all, there should be a warning on the objective, or there should be a process to change multiple times.
I've seen quite a few teams with random letters for their name where I suspect people have fallen foul of this.
I will add a point of attention to the fact that when one decides to cancel his club, the objectives achieved remain fulfilled.
By setting the objectives to zero, this would allow to re-access the goal that allows to rename the club.
I don't know what it can bring as development but it seems to me easier than to reinstate a club renaming option. (although this seems to me to be the general opinion)

Nope, before you could buy for 2000 FCC in the catalogue (with R3) a "FUT Club Change Name"

When I did the objective I assumed it was now an option in FUT. Just hadn't got round to changing it back. Is there seriously no option to do this once you've done the objective? Haha absolute jokers
Yeah, I think it's a Joke. A joke called "regression" ..
They could have at least warned, either when we achieve the goal or when we remove the club.

Thank you for your opinion, I feel less alone because I find we receive a lot of negative remarks unfairly about our problem, people don't understand our feeling. This is something that must be solved.

go to your squad and then press "squad actions" - go to the squad selector and there you have the option to rename your club
Do you read our posts ? ..
You're talking about the SQUAD name, not the CLUB name

Dates and times aren't something I can promise - it's been fed back but would require time to make the change etc so would need to be prioritized along with other things being looked into.

This is a pretty bad flaw in the game and is taking a lot of the enjoyment from Ultimate Team for a lot of people. Your club name is your identity. It would be annoying anyway not to be able to change your team name, but to be forced to do it in order to complete an objective and then not be able to change it back is absurd.
It's actually the only gripe I have with Fifa this year.

Not strictly a fix on this occasion - the name can be changed through an objective.,
I do get however that last year there were 2 ways to do this, now there's only 1. I've already provided that feedback to the team.

My club name used to be Domination.
Had it for years on every fifa I played then all of a sudden EA made me change it 1 day after logging on because it is now deemed to be a censored word. Wasnt happy.

I agree you should be able to rename it at any time but how many times do you need to do it before you settle on one. My clubs had the same name since FUT 09
