Game won’t connect to EA servers
Hello!
I bought the game from the Nintendo e shop, and upon starting up the game I can’t connect to the EA servers. Never once managed to do so. I contacted both Nintendo and Ea support, but no one can see any issues, even after hours and hours of troubleshooting with both companies. Everything seems to be fine on both sides. Could any of you help me with this issue?
Some things to note:
- Nintendo and EA accounts are linked fine (confirmed by both parties)
- network works fine, in fact I tried two different connections
- I have a valid Nintendo online subscription
- I am not underage
- according to Nintendo there are absolutely no issues with my switch (over 2 hours of troubleshooting with them)
- I deleted and redownloaded the game already
- restarted the console several times

@MadRedPirahna I only have one Nintendo online account, and I am not intending to buy a second one just to be able to play.. the other users on my switch have no online access so I can’t change the user. It is not possible to relink the accounts that are already linked. I asked EA several times and there is no way to unlink them or relink.

If you try logging in with another account (if possible) is this account able to login?
Please try re-linking your account, via the steps here. Sometimes this is required to resolve this issue.

Hi @petrahegedus,
Can you check the age of both the EA Account and the Nintendo account linked please? Any time we've seen this issue in the past the Nintendo account was either underage or without the Nintendo Online.
