The idea of using a forum in which players help each other is great, as long as the devs are also helping. The problem in this forum relies solely on the issue that EA doesn't take matter into their hands, and take no responsibility to help players with a very rare issue. As an example I've got an issue that no one seems to have here and I've got no way to contact EA, and even if there were people with the same issue, I miss their posts or they miss mine because of the constant, often similar, posts that stay without an answer
