Trait Gate is back...
Edit: I’ve decided to keeping tally of the special cards missing traits the base card have. I’ll try my best to keep up with them. But please actually check in game before posting. I can’t check all of these. Especially sbc cards.
Scream Ozil- flair, finesse shot
Scream Dzeko- all
POTM Aubameyang- finesse shot
OTW/IF Ben yedder- flair
OTW/IF De Jong- flair
POTM Pukki- finesse shot
Potm vela- flair, finesse shot
Edit 2: not making the list anymore. Basically every special card in the game is missing some traits from their base card. Most notably, finesse shot, flair, power free kick.

Futbin always misses out the traits on if’s and other special cards. Check in game to be certain

Investigating a little more, seems most of my special cards are missing the «flair» trait. What exactly does this do?

If that is the case, it would be the worst "feature" of the game for me. Makes the grind towards upgrading virtually meaningless if the better cards really are worse.

The blue CL cards have this issue too i believe Sons card is missing traits
Don't know about Son, but checked my two blues. Ederson has his traits listed ingame, Wijnaldum does not.

Yeah, glad its not only me. My potm Auba is missing quite a lot of chances. As you said, his NIF is clearly better. You can ask yourself why the ‘better’ card has been stripped from a trait thats on his base card... But didn’t EA release a pitch note last year about traits being AI only either way?
If you look at futbin some cards that have a lot of traits will say (AI only). But many traits are not specific to the AI.

Any official statement from EA on that issue. IF it is try, it is not a minor issue at all. It completely destroys the way IF or special cards should be = better than their NIF, not worse.

How do you check this other than futbin which we know can be wrong?
you can see this when you're in a game, go and press RS on the player you want to check it with.

You can see traits in game. When you pause or are on your player screen.
On a player use the right stick to scroll through stats for player. 3rd or 4th page is traits and specialities or however it's named.
Quite a few of them are cpu only
